YOUR ROLE IN CHILD EDUCATION.

Most times, if we are not constantly reminded of that which is directly staring us in the face we tend to ignore it. But this isn’t one of those issues that can just go away by ignoring it, it is sure to come back and sting you in unexpected ways.
As an Adult that has had the privilege of education and having understood it’s finer points, it is your responsibility to ensure that at least a decent number of people get the same stepping stone that you had and what better way to start than from the saplings that haven’t grown deep roots and are highly malleable.

About 258 million children and youth are out of school, according to UIS data for the school year ending in 2018. The total includes 59 million children of primary school age, 62 million of lower secondary school age and 138 million of upper secondary age ( UNESCO).
These numbers are alarming but it is the reality of most kids who have no hope of seeing the four walls of a classroom and harnessing their talents that can only be unlocked with the right knowledge in place.
There are reasons most of these children are not in school , one such reason is extreme poverty where their immediate family can’t cater to such needs because even feeding is a Herculean task.

Another reason is ignorance, most of these children’s parents never had an education hence they don’t understand it’s importance and the children suffer for their lack of knowledge. These issues are compatible, and the few steps listed below will go a long way to change the destiny of these underprivileged children.

2. Take it upon yourself to educate the young ones around you by holding classes for them be it twice a week or more according to your schedule.
