We recognize that there is already a wealth of information provided by the state and other institutions in the canton of Neuchatel, such as the Career Guidance Center – OCOSP. This has already positively contributed to improving the integration of migrants.
Our organization organizes sessions aimed at providing information on training access in Switzerland while also creating a platform for migrants to engage in dialogue. This approach helps them gain a clearer understanding of the challenges they face and express these issues more effectively, thereby aiding in the pursuit of solutions to their difficulties.
Our observations indicate that 40% of migrants are well-trained and occupy favorable positions within the job market, while the remaining 60% lack adequate training. Within this latter group, 10% hold qualifications that are not recognized, compelling them to accept roles for which they are not sufficiently prepared. It is evident that the 40% of migrants who are well-trained and successfully integrated into the Swiss labor market can act as positive role models for their children, benefiting from the education they have received.
