Volunteering.

Emma has always loved helping people, he is very passionate about making life easier and Better for others.
He started from a very young age by helping his classmates with their tough school work, after school he would stay back and help his form teacher with curating students records. Whenever the school had big events planned he always volunteered to assist in the chores involved and did it to the best of his ability.

In the university, he held tutorials for his coursemates and was a strong Student Union member who spearheaded events in school that helped students achieve better and also help students get scholarships.
Now as a salary earner, he has grown his impact hub and upscaled his volunteering by carrying out projects that help people and societies in need, he has joined hands with like minded individuals to undertake huge responsibilities that provide better lifestyle options for the underprivileged.

Who is a volunteer?
A volunteer is someone who willingly gives their time, skills and experience to an organisation or group and also community service. In return, a volunteer may gain work experience, broaden their own skills, develop new interests and become more involved with the community.

Why volunteering?
People choose to volunteer for diverse reasons, despite the different notions, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.
For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Other reasons include;
To make a difference to the lives of others
help the environment, to help the less fortunate or ones without a voice, to feel valued and part of a team, to spend quality time away from work or a busy lifestyle, to gain confidence and self-esteem.
How volunteering works:
Volunteering can be done alone, by personally carrying out mini projects like sponsoring scholarships for one or two persons, or by joining building projects, visiting hospitals and support of lots other projects. It can also be done in groups that visit places and render assistance to less privileged, group projects that involve big financial aids.
Volunteering is a great confidence booster, that allows for impact on so many levels, it makes you happier to give value to others and be of importance to your community. It helps one understand that privileges exist and should be used to aid those in circles of lack and need, and also help raise people from despair and desolation.
Volunteering is a good way to give back to society and soothe the soul with kindness and generosity.
