Our Main Programmes
Our volunteers contribute to two core programme areas: Education Resources Distribution and Community Education & Fundraising.
Both programme areas operate throughout the year and are structured around clearly defined project objectives.
Education Resources Distribution
We deliver donated books, computers, and learning materials to underserved schools and communities. Volunteer involvement includes:
- Preparing and organising materials
- Supporting transport and on-site distribution
- Assisting with setup and installation
- Recording activities and impact documentation
Community Education & Fundraising
We implement educational activities and fundraising initiatives in Switzerland and partner countries to sustain long-term projects. Volunteer involvement includes:
- Community outreach and awareness activities
- Supporting fundraising initiatives
- Assisting in workshops and events
- Contributing to communication and engagement efforts

Available Volunteer Roles
You may apply for one or more of the following project-based roles:
- Education Resources Distribution Volunteer
- Education Resource Mobilisation & Fundraiser
- International Fundraiser
- Door-to-Door & Street Fundraiser
- Swiss Ambassador
- Street Marketing Fundraiser
- Awalé Workshop Assistant / Facilitator
- Project Coordinator
- Social Media Assistant
- Website Assistant
Each role is connected to ongoing programmes and contributes to structured, long-term education initiatives.
Time Commitment
- Flexible, project-based engagement
- Activities available throughout the year
- Approximately 4–10 hours per week (depending on role)
- Minimum commitment of 3 months
Longer-term involvement is encouraged to ensure continuity and impact.
Training & Support
We provide:
- Introductory training relevant to your role
- Clear operational guidelines
- Ongoing supervision and coordination
Volunteers receive structured support throughout their engagement.
